2018 WALK-IN FLU CLINICS

Our Walk-in Flu clinics have now finished. Any eligible patient still requiring a vaccination should contact either of our receptions to book an appointment with a nurse.

The Flu clinics provide a valuable source of extra funding to the practice which is used to support other services we provide to our patients. By having the vaccine elsewhere you are denying us that funding.

EXTENDED ACCESS CLINICS

This practice is a member of the local GP Confederation (NICs). The federation is now providing early evening and weekend GP appointments at the Bedser Hub which is located in the Woking Community Hospital. These appointments are pre-bookable through either of our receptions.

NICs have also contracted with LIVI to provide video consultations, on smart phones and tablets, with an NHS GP on behalf of the practice. Download the LIVI app and follow the on screen instructions. 

THE CQC HAVE RATED THIS PRACTICE AS GOOD 

We now have free Wi-fi available in both our waiting rooms - select NHS Free wi-fi and log on.

Patients can now book GP appointments, request repeat medication and view their medical records on line. Go to the on-line access page under the appointments tab and complete the registration form.

ON-Line Prescription System

If you have registered for our on-line system, EMIS Access, then please click here to order your prescription
If you have not yet registered for our on-line system, please go to the 'On line appointments' tab, under Appointments and follow the instructions to register for the new service.
 
Online ordering is only available for medicines that your GP has prescribed on repeat - Requests for a further issue of one off medicines cannot be ordered online.

Repeat Prescriptions

Nice_blue_pillsIf you are on regular treatment, your doctor may authorise repeat prescriptions for you. Please hand your computerised re-order form or, official repeat prescription request into reception at least 48 HOURS (EXCLUDING WEEKENDS AND BANK HOLIDAYS) before you need the medication.

If you send in a handwritten note or amendment to your re-order form, it may take longer to process. Allow 5 working days and please make sure that your re-order form is updated when you next attend your doctor. If you would like us to return your prescription by post, please enclose a stamped, addressed envelope.

TO AVOID ERRORS, WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT REQUESTS BY TELEPHONE.

Please anticipate your next repeat prescription and give us time to process it before coming to collect it otherwise much time is wasted by our staff trying to track it down in the surgery. 

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE ISSUED AN HOSPITAL PRESCRIPTION YOU SHOULD ENCASH IT AT THE HOSPITAL PHARMACY. WE DO NOT CONVERT HOSPITAL PRESCRIPTIONS TO GP PRESCRIPTIONS.

IF ISSUED A PRIVATE PRESCRIPTION BY A CONSULTANT IN A NON NHS CONSULTATION, WE WILL NOT CONVERT THE PRIVATE PRESCRIPTION TO AN NHS PRESCRIPTION.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor at least once a year to review these regular medications.
