Dr Alison Shine

We are sorry to inform our patients that Dr Shine has now retired. All patients that have Dr Shine as their usual GP will be re-allocated to other GPs in the practice. Your new 'usual GP' will be displayed on all future correspondence you receive from us. Please note that you can see any GP at the practice for acute problems.

FLU CLINICS

We still have some vaccines available for patients aged 65 and over. If you have not yet had you seasonal Flu Immunisation please contact either reception.

EXTENDED ACCESS CLINICS

We now run an early morning clinic 07.30 - 08.00 a.m. Monday to Friday. This is only for pre-booked appointments and no other services will be available during this time.

This practice is also a member of the local GP Confederation (NICs). The federation provides early evening and weekend GP appointments at the Bedser Hub which is located in the Woking Community Hospital. These appointments are pre-bookable through either of our receptions.

NICs have also contracted with LIVI to provide video consultations, on smart phones and tablets, with an NHS GP on behalf of the practice. Download the LIVI app and follow the on screen instructions. 

THE CQC HAVE RATED THIS PRACTICE AS GOOD 

Patients can now book GP appointments, request repeat medication and view their medical records on line. Go to the on-line access page under the appointments tab and complete the registration form or download the NHS App from the APP store.

Community Midwives

Midwives provide both ante and postnatal advice and care in the community and at the practice antenatal clinics.

Community Nurses

The District Nursing team can be contacted by telephone on: 0300 303 4735. They provide nursing care to housebound patients in the community. The Community Nursing service is provided by Central Surrey Health (CSH).

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. The Health visitors can be contacted on 01483 728201 ext2.
